Le Bon Weekend on North Keppel
We are delighted to invite you to our annual French themed weekend on North Keppel Island.
12-13 September 2020
Education Queensland has confirmed that the North Keppel Island Environmental Education Centre can re-open and they have confirmed our reservation for our Le Bon Weekend event, and registrations are now opened! An email to all our members and students has been sent, however, if you’ve not received the email, please get in touch either through our Facebook page or by email.
We are putting together an entertaining weekend with a French theme at this glorious venue that would otherwise be a venue that you would not be able to visit.
We are developing a program for the two days that ranges across indoor and outdoor activities and games, travel experiences, and cultural items, all with a French flavour. AFdeCQ is privileged to have access to this tranquil island, laced with tracks, filled with forests and fauna, and lacking day-trippers, for you to explore.
These two days at the Centre, including transfers, meals, cabin accommodation and the organised events will cost $190 for AFdeCQ Members and $210 for Non-members. Partners who do not wish to join in the French program are welcome to attend for the same cost. This includes a wine education event before dining on Saturday evening, including wine with dinner.
When and Where:
12-13 September – departing Saturday morning on Vessel ‘Gundoo Spirit moored at Keppel Bay Marina – Red Pier 3.
